I just recieved the clasp today. When I opened the box- WOW! Even prettier than the depiction. Nice goldtone close. Very solid touch in the hand. The peacock is the clasp and it is not poor at all. Exact size to fit a phone, ID, compact and powder. The chain straps (2- a short one and a long one) that come with it are a modest loud looking but not too awful. I doubtless won't use the straps, just carry the bag as a clasp.

This is a nice looking sundown purse for the price. It does not look cheap. My only cocern is that the spine part of a peacock which is a part of the latch does not stay flush to the purse as the head part does. I am not sure if this piece is defective or that is how it is. Once I know, I will chat my rating.

The evening bag is beautiful and the exact size and color. I am considering to buy the fuchsia colored one.The one complaint I had was with the carrier benefit that did not deliver it on time. I ended up not being able to use it for the intended reason, which was very disappointing. The carrier benefit needs to be changed.
